Equipment
Shot on Cannon 550D - This will create a clear, defind image giving my footage a higher quality.However, this is not the traditional filming equiptment that is used to create television shows.
miranze - creates clear sound (the only issue with using this equipment is that when editing the sound must be completely insync, if it is not then this will bring down the quality of my television show).
Locations
My main location will be within the television studio at the university of winchester, as it is a large space and i will be easier to convert to a childrens art show set than a another room. However i am also concidering other outside locations for my 'big art' segments. These other locations include south sea Portsmouth and 'The Look Out' Bracknell.
Presenters
It is very important for me to find a talented presenter that understands how to hold and capture a childs attention. In order to find a presenter i will be posting a casting call on websites such as Starnow, Gumtree and Stars in my eyes. As we as this I also fourtunalty have conections with a London drama school and therefore will also be approaching members to find anyone that is a good presenter.
From this I will then hold auditions and finally choose one presenter for my show. I have decided that I will only be using one presenter due to the length of the show, however if the show was longer I would concider using multipul presenters in order to hold the audiences attention.
Lighting
My research has shown me that a conventional lighting plan for children's televison shows include bright, vibrant, colourful lights in order to create a friendly positive atmosphere. I believe that having this vibrant lighting and set will captivate my audience, drawing them into the show and holding there attention.
Editing
When editing I have to remember that if my editing pace is too slow I will loose the attention of my target audience. However, if the editing pace is too fast this will result in my target audience not understanding the instructions that are being given to them by the presenter. Therefore, it is highly important that whilst editing I preview my footage to my target audience in a focus group and receiving there opinion on wether it is easy to follow.
