Risks and Dependancies

Risks

• Equipment: must make sure that everyone is aware of what equipment is being used and if any safety wear is issued then this must be worn e.g Hard hats, Gloves etc.
• Studio: All cast and crew must abide to the safety rule issued when in the studio, eg. no eating or drinking etc.
• Lighting: Hard hats and Gloves must be worn when moving lights as well as instruction those on the studio floor to stand clear.
• Wires: Must ensure that all wires are kept tidy to minimise tripping hazards.
• Small space: As i will be working in a relatively small space i will have to ensure that only the equipment that is needed is out.
• Set: It is important that all the set is constructed properly to ensure that it does not fall and injure someone. However, this is also minimised by the set being made out of light wieght materials.

Dependancies

• Rely on presenters to show up on time and not pull out of doing the show - minimise risk by ensuring that I cast an understudy that is also available during the shooting schedule if my primary presenter pulls out. 
• If I have children on the show then this will require parents to sign release forms. As well as this it will be important to have lots of rehearsal time with the children to make them comfortable with the presenter and cameras to ensure that they don't become intimidated and shy when filming. 
• Availability of the TV studio. Minimised by creating a shooting schedule and booking the studio and studio equipment well before shoot.
• Relying on crew members to be on time to each shoot. Minimised by creating a contract and ensuring that all cast and crew members are issued with a shooting schedule well before shooting is about to commence.
